After overcoming all the difficulties, they are now ready to present Dave’s first solo exhibition to the public! From conceptualisation to submitting proposal, execution and exhibition setup, what did they find most valuable? How did they tackle all the challenges reality presented? Now, they shall break down all the bitter and sweets during the preparation process. 「下垂眼皮的陰影裏有些田」—黃慧心個展 藝術家訪問片段 The fields in the shadow of the lowered eyelids Solo Exhibition by Winsome Wong Artist interview 香港藝術中心除提供不同平台予本地新晉藝術家展示無限創意外，亦開辦了「CREATORS FOR TOMORROW 」計劃，鼓勵和支援藝術人才的發展。 今年，「CREATORS FOR TOMORROW」更增設兩項全新專題研究組別，分別為「亞洲當代視覺藝術與文化研究」及「跨界別節目」提案。專業評審在七月中已選出獲資助單位名單，我們在12月6日正式迎來首個展覽的開幕——以異地見聞作靈感的「下垂眼皮的陰影裏有些田」！ 這個展覽由藝術家黃慧心創作，以「田」為核心，通過藝術呈現三個不同城市的田，以及在前往田的旅途上的聯想、感受和沉思，從而探討城市化、邊緣化以及生活方式等議題，並引起觀眾的思考。 「下垂眼皮的陰影裏有些田」——黃慧心個展 日期：2023年12月7日至2024年1月7日 時間*: 10AM – 7PM (開幕晚會：12月6日7PM開始) 地點: 香港藝術中心三樓張靜蘭實驗畫廊 #免費參觀 *展覽開放時間將因應中心節目調整。準確開放時間請參照香港藝術中心網頁。 Close your eyes; how does your eyes capture the cities and natures around you ? The Hong Kong Arts Centre (HKAC) not only provides different platforms for local emerging artists to showcase their boundless creativity but also offers funding scheme "CREATORS FOR TOMORROW" to encourage and support the artistic development of aspiring talents. This year, "CREATORS FOR TOMORROW" has introduced two new research project categories: “Asian Contemporary Visual Arts and Culture” and “Cross-disciplinary programme”. The professional jury selected the list of funded projects in mid-July, and we are now anticipating the opening of our first exhibition inspired by observations from different places on December 6, titled "the fields in the shadow of the lowered eyelids”! This exhibition is curated by the artist Winsome Wong, which revolves around the concept of "fields" and presents fields from three different cities, as well as the associations, emotions, and contemplations during the journey to the fields through art.
